SEOUL (Reuters) - The United States has started to deploy the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-missile system to South Korea, U.S. Pacific Command said in a statement on Tuesday.

BANGKOK, 7 March 2017 (NNT) – Aerial footage collected by the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) has revealed that followers within Dhammakaya Temple have set up militaristic formations to obstruct the search for their former abbot.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Long-awaited legislation to dismantle Obamacare was unwrapped on Monday by U.S. Republicans, who called for ending health insurance mandates and rolling back extra healthcare funding for the poor in a package that drew immediate fire from Democrats.

Transport fines 18 Uber Taxi drivers in a single day

Supreme Court upholds 2-year jail sentence for Jeng Dokjik

BANGKOK: -- The Supreme Court today upheld the two-year jail sentence for former core member of the red-shirt movement Yossawarit Chuklom, alias Jeng Dokjik, after agreeing with the rulings of the first and the second courts for lese majeste.

 

After the ruling, he was immediately escorted by warden to Bangkok Remand Prison to serve the jail sentence with no suspension of jail term.

 

Jeng Dokjik was earlier sentenced to serve two years in prison with no suspension of jail term after both the Criminal Court and the Appeals Court found him guilty on lese majeste after he addressed a protest rally of the redshirt supporters on March 29, 2010.
