BEIRUT (Reuters) - President Hassan Rouhani should apologise to the Iranian people if he cannot show that the economy has improved, one of Iran's most prominent hardliners said on Tuesday, setting a battle line for a presidential election in May.

UK government vows to reverse parliament's changes to Brexit bill

 

LONDON (Reuters) - The British government will seek to overturn changes made by parliament's upper chamber on Tuesday to legislation that will give Prime Minister Theresa May the power to begin EU exit talks, Brexit minister David Davis said in a statement.

CHICAGO (Reuters) - A judge is expected to issue a decision in the case of a Singaporean blogger who is seeking asylum in the United States in around two weeks, his lawyer said on Tuesday.

CDC head gives update on general election schedule

 

BANGKOK, 8 March 2017 (NNT) – The chairman of the Constitution Drafting Commission (CDC) has maintained that a firm date for the next general election cannot yet be set while letting on organic laws to do with the Election Commission are soon to be forwarded to the National Legislative Assembly.

BANGKOK: -- The Tax Commission yesterday decided to not extend deadline for the tax summons as requested by the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) to pressure the Revenue Department to collect 16 billion baht tax from the Shinawatra family for the 73 billion baht sale of Shin Corporation's shares to Singapore's state-owned telecom Temasek Holding in 2006.
