I have 750,000 in a Time deposit that will mature in Feb and over 100,000 in the Regular Passbook. I will transfer the money from the Time deposit into the Regular Passbook giving me the required 800,000 or more needed but will they allow this cause I will transfer just 1 month before I go to extend my visa as that is when it will mature.

So it will have been in the account for 1 month but has been in the bank for almost a year in the other account.

Anybody have a clue if this will fly ?

Why don't you ask immigration as you may be able to renew the fixed deposit and still qualify. I suspect they will accept but you really need to talk with those making the decision on anything 'out of the ordinary'.
