Aussie Hell's Angels making life hell for fellow Thai bikers

PATTAYA: -- A Thai member of the Pattaya Hell's Angels has gone to the media to complain about being attacked by Australian's who have infiltrated the club.

Thaksin Monthonthaksin, 39, said he was attacked by the Australian bikers who have joined his club in a fight at the Angel Press on Soi Bun Samphan on March 7th, reported 77Jowo.

Thaksin holds the position of Sergeant at Arms in the club and is responsible for its smooth running.

But he said that since last year when a group of Aussie bikers joined there has been nothing but trouble aimed mostly at the Thai members of the club.

There has been infighting and fights with other groups, notably an attack that made the news on a group of young people near the end of last year.

Yesterday he showed pictures of facial bruises and cuts and body wounds sustained in the attack by the Australians last Tuesday. He needed seven stitches to a head wound.

"Since the Australians came there has been nothing but trouble," he  told media organization 77Jowo.

It's "Angels Place" not "Angels Press" for starters.

Also, most (real) 1%er clubs (like the Hells Angels) would not be too happy with having their "dirty laundry" aired in public like this.

well, thats a turn up for the books.

thais getting a taste of there own fighting  style , and then bitching about it .

I am against violence although in this case, I think you're spot on. I've been to several Pattaya biker bars and all went well but I don't go anymore given the many choices. I think for many of these biker blokes, it's just a hobby and to have a sense of belonging to a community that has a uniform. Everyone else is all dolled up in their Harley clothes, so you do it too. Some are quiet family men and the bike gives them a hobby.

One day at a fuel station along the highway upcountry a group of bikers arrived on Harleys.

They had to park them all on a line to have a picture taken.

Some of them couldn't reach the floor while sitting on it so 3 other guys had to help them pushing the bike 2 meters back in reverse.

It was the best moment of the whole trip upcountry.:cheesy:

Something in that story  doesnt add up , I suspect the Aussie boys are associated with the real hells angels , and dont approve of what they are doing in some shape or form

I suspect this is the case too, especially the Sargeant at Arms who is responsible for security.

Probably a bunch of Thai blokes wearing the patch without realising the significance....like a lot of things here

I would guess that the Thai bikers are very, very soft men, who just love the uniform, and perhaps their chapter is not even supported by the HA clubs worldwide. Perhaps the Aussies were sent in to mess with the Thais, and show them who is boss, and who are the punks. In many countries these are some really bad hombres. Really nasty guys that are into all kinds of nasty stuff like dealing heroin, killings, and general mayhem. I am sure there are a few members that are upstanding citizens. But, despite their valiant efforts at charity, and other activities meant to shed a more positive light, in general they are not upstanding members of society.

  • In May 2008, Hells Angel Christopher Wayne Hudson pleaded guilty to shooting a man to death after bystanders tried to help Hudson's girlfriend while the couple fought in the streets of Melbourne.
  • The Hells Angels Web site itself devotes a page to members serving prison time - although it's never made clear on the site if they were sentenced for activities conducted in their roles as members.
  • Ralph "Sonny" Barger, the media-affable co-founder of the Oakland, Calif., Hells Angels, spent four years in federal prison after being found guilty of conspiring to blow up a rival group's clubhouse.

In their book "Angels of Death: Inside the Bikers Empire of Crime," authors William Marsden and Julius Sher portray a Hells Angels in which members murder fellow motorcyclists, police officers and people minding their own business: "Not to mention the hundreds of thousands of lives ruined, brains fried, bodies withered by the methamphetamines, cocaine and other drugs pushed by the bikers. And yet while the body count kept mounting, Sonny Barger, the Californian patriarch and international leader of the Hells Angels, was being feted by the international media as he promoted his latest bestselling book".

For instance, the Quebec Biker War in Canada waged between the Hells Angels and a rival group called the Rock Machine, spanned eight years and killed more than 150 people -- including innocent bystanders. In Europe at least, conflicts between Hells Angels and rival biker gangs have in the past escalated to the use of machine guns, grenades, rocket launchers and car bombs.

Interesting to see if Pattaya's new squeaky clean image vision means these "quality" expats will be looked at?

What sort of visas/extensions are they on?

Bikers, foreign crooks and so called mafia types, pimping and drug dealing, or selling protection or whatever - their days may well be numbered, thankfully.

This guy is still flashing his colors by the look of his T-shirt, so it seems it wasn't a club thing.

He probably got into a fight with one of his Aussie brothers and decided to go to the media with it.

Unbelievable !!

What's a <deleted> like this doing in a 1% club in the first place ??

Standards must have dropped world wide.

Anyhow, he paved the way to being thrown out of the club and a more serious beating.

Maybe he will go on national television with that !

In Australia , the Hells Angels apart from the odd incident , surprisingly keep a pretty low profile , almost undercover mafia like ,

Despite that ,  it is still well known they are into organised crime, and are guys not to be messed with

Looks like he got a slap.

That picture doesn't indicate a beating.

7 stitches is not a big wound...the thai hell's angels must have been a pretty easy club to join, if this is the mettle of the thai members...does this guy realize how his actions are going to be perceived by other bikers?

Hell's Angel cries to media over private club altercation. Even the outlaw bike gangs in Thailand have their own special rules!

Though I have no use for The Hells Angles,If you can claim a right to belong and wear the colors you better process a pair of balls. No real Hells Angle would ever run to the police for anything much less an ass whipping. That comes with the territory..If you can't stand the heat ,Get out of the kitchen. Thai (so called) angles" Grow some balls.
