Thai word for head gasket?

Featured Replies

I'm trying to explain to the mechanic (via my wife) that I think there may be an issue with the head gasket on her car

Unfortunately I'm not in the same location as the car otherwise I'd be able to show him and I'm sure he'd understand (well I hope he would anyway ;))

So in the meantime does anyone know the Thai translation for head gasket?

cheers

It sounds like pbak gen ..is written

Pa kĕn

 I think ...

It's "brah-gen far soop" for a head gasket. ปะเก็นฝาสูบ in Thai. brah-gen is a gasket. Google the Thai phrase and you'll get pics you can show the mechanic.

FWIW I got an app on Android which translates to Thai. Seems to work OK as people suss what you are trying to say.
