Eight provinces warned of flash flooding, mudslides
By The Nation

BANGKOK: -- The National Disaster Warning Centre warned residents of eight provinces to brace themselves for possible flash foods and mudslides on Thursday and Friday.

The centre said Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat would see heavy rains that could trigger flooding and mudslides in some areas.

People have been advised to remain alert for urgent announcements from the Centre.
