Motorcyclist killed, three injured in road-racing crash
By The Nation

BANGKOK: -- A young motorcyclist was killed and three others injured in an apparent road-racing accident on Bang Na-Trat highway late Wednesday night, police said.

Police were informed of the accident around midnight. The accident happened on the inbound highway at kilometre marker No 6 in front of Bang Na Tower.

Four motorcycles apparently crashed into one another, causing them to overturn and drag along the road for over 10 metres. One motorcyclist died at the scene while two were rushed to the nearby Piyamin Hospital and another to Vibha Ram Hospital.

Local residents told police that they heard the roar of motorcycles racing at the spot a few times before they crashed.

As they say there are old motorcyclists and bold motorcyclists but there are no old

bold motorcyclists. Hopefully the surviving 3 bike riders have now learned this.

RIP to the one who did not.

Helmet = Not Macho!

Helmet = Hot head also! :shock1: people in cooler climate, more inclined to wear protection!

They would have needed a decent quality of Helmet to be of any help by the sounds of this, crash helmets don't have the magical properties that some like to make out!

People in cooler climates have the law applied consistently !! And yes your right on second point as someone from the Isle of Man I know only to well that helmets don't always enable a rider to survive a head injury .
