Aloha . Has any one out there booked an International Ticket over the internet with Air Asia? I want to book Bangkok to Yangon and return. However, these folks profess to be completely ticket-less. Not exactly sure what they mean by this? I would be using my CC to book the flights and would like what we call an electronic ticket or an itinerary of some sort! What type of proof of ticket purchase do they give?

Appreciate you sharing your experiences with this air line and/or any other low-cost airline (other than Air Asia) recommendations with the routing I need.

When you book online, part of the process is the credit check done on your credit card. When approved you will see a screen with all the details of your flight, reservation number(booking code) etc. Plus a notice to save or print that for your records. Later they will send you a confirmation.

In case they don't, your approval can be used to board.

Been using E:Tickets for maybe 5 years.. or so ..No problems...

Think my first time was with KLM- London City to Amsterdam and when you booked in at the sort of ATM at the airport you could pick your own seat on the video and pick wot food you wanted :o and on a 30 minute flight.

Other big advantage over a normal ticket is that should you lose it ...just log back into your account and bring it back up again.....

It s the future....
