Please share your experience about consulates/embassies that are giving a hard time when applying for 60-day tourist visa.

Stay away from Phnom Phen. Penang in Malaysia is a pretty safe bet.

Stay away from Phnom Phenh and Manila .

In HKG and Vietnam you need to show a outbound Airticket.

Laos /Malaysia is OK.

If you go to Vietnam do you need to show the Thai embassy/consulate a ticket out of thailand before you can get a visa? Does the tickect need to be dated before the visa expires or can the flight be after the visa expires?

thanks.
