Just bought a new Bosche Silver and been told two different things by two different people.

1. Just put in the car and use straight away.

2. Best to to put on a very low trickle charge overnight before using.

??

Anyone out there can say what's best?

Connect it up and your good to go, there is no need to charge a new battery nowadays they all come fully charged from the factory. It may have lost a slight charge but the first 30 minute drive will replace that

Nope.

But I remember those. Fantastic number of ball joints at the front and some could fail an MOT on rust when straight of the production line.
