Husband claims he played fake Russian roulette with wife but didn’t take all the bullets out

BANGKOK: -- A drunk man in Sena, Ayutthaya, told police that he was only playing with his wife when he suggested a game of Russian roulette.

 

He claimed he had emptied the gun before handing it to his wife.

 

Sena police who went to a house in ban Phaen sub-district found 27 year old nursing assistant Nopparat Prasena dead in a pool of blood on her bed. She had been shot square in the forehead by a .22 bullet that exited by the nape of the neck, reported Daily News.

 

The gun used was lying nearby

 

He husband Pongrat Kitsunthorn, 27, was crying at the scene when police arrived.

 

He said he had been drinking with friends and on his way back picked up a gun from his grandmother’s house. He said he took out all the bullets.

 

He got home and suggested a game of Russian roulette with his wife and said they took it in turns to fire.

 

Suddenly the gun went off and his wife lay dead.

 

Police are skeptical about his account.

 

Relatives told the cops that the husband was a habitual drunkard without a job. The wife had posted on Facebook that she was fed up with her life with him.

 

Investigations continue.

Sounds feasible, I mean come on we have all gone round our mates for a beer, had a skinfily went round granny's to grab a gun and fine home played russian roulette with the Mrs who of course is perfectly fine with it all.

Shot in forehead and exited through the nape sounds more like an execution.  Roulete is normally through the temple

Very difficult to fire a pistol square in the forehead.....then have the projectile exit low in the back of the head......Pornthip could explain better...... maybe?

Add an extra 5 years to his sentence for coming up with such nonsense and wasting people's time.

You need to understand the grooming process where "the crazy guy" (in this case) assumes the dominant role and crushes the spirit and free will of the woman who assumes the victim role. A variety of techniques are involved, fear, emotional blackmail, violence, guilt tripping, use of friends and family, false charm, alienation from friends and family, etc...

 

The pattern is repeated all over the world and in dramatically differing cultures. It is not necessarily a woman who is the victim. It is a very ugly facet of human nature.

I thought he said he'd taken all the bullets out .. they should test the gun out on his head to see if their are any bullets left, if not someone could get a bigger gun from grandmamas house and try again lol

I don't know, but a lot of them seem to do it. And the worse they are treated the more they lap it up. Beaten up in public, kicked around the appartment from day to day . Maybe they actually believe that they are so worthless that they have to 'belong' to someone, even a wife-beating drunken peasant . Plus the irrational terror some people have of being alone.
