Govt organizes biggest Thai-Chinese business matching

BANGKOK, 19 May 2017 (NNT) - The Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) and the Bank of China have collaborated to arrange the biggest business matching between Thai and Chinese entrepreneurs.

Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak and representatives of the BOI, the Ministry of Commerce and the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce on Thursday welcomed more than 200 Chinese entrepreneurs from China and other countries. The entrepreneurs were matched with 300 Thai companies.

Apart from business matching, the event presented investment areas for 10 target industries under the Eastern Economic Corridor. The government's investment promotion policy was highlighted to attract Chinese investors.

The deputy PM stressed that Thailand is developing the EEC to connect with China's "One Belt One Road" project. The connection is expected to help establish Thailand as the center of ASEAN.

looks like many will learn the hard way Chinese do business with the family.

Running toward the Business People's Republic of Chinese Thailand?

Looks like a very efficient way to promote business, when money beckons the Thais can be very good indeed.

Actually the One Belt One Road roadshow only benefits China. Take a look at how Kyrgyzstan and Greece have been "Belted" by this charade. Look behind Mr. Xi's friendly smile he wants to take over Asia and seeing who was elected in the US the world now is not out of the realm of possibility.
