webfact
PM urges politicians, dissenters to refrain from rhetorical speech BANGKOK, 22 May 2017 (NNT) – Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has asked politicians and dissenters not to use rhetoric to undermine the government’s achievements. Gen Prayut has reiterated his satisfaction with the government’s 3-year performance, and has asserted that cabinet ministers will not be become complacent and will continue to work hard for the country and its people. He said the administration’s achievements have been recognized and lauded by many sides. Despite these achievements, Gen Prayut said there remain those who attempt to discredit and tarnish the government’s reputation using political rhetoric and turning people against the government. The prime minister then asked the general public to listen with their heads so that they don’t fall victim to the rhetoric of politicians. -- nnt 2017-05-
