Something stinks here and it's not the drains. 1,250,000 hits? Shared 5000+ times? Aaaaaaaand there's no cute kitty in the clip.
SiamBeast
Her intentions are good, but it clearly shows a lack of interest from the government. When the citizens have to unclog the drains themselves, you know there's a problem.

When the citizens have to unclog the drains themselves, you know there's a problem. On big main roads like Nawamin in BKK the government cleans the drains about every weekend at night. They have huge escavators to open the drainlids who are the roaddeck and they clean everything with heavy duty machines. Mind you, those drains who are under the road are huge, the lids as well. I've seen them cleaning it many times, always at night in the weekends.

wakeupplease
A million locals tune into watching Bog cleaning. Full credit to the lady doing what those who are paid to do, do not do
Chris Lawrence
I wonder if Yupadee offered to help? The Government were still back slapping themselves over the Chao Phraya River Project, so they couldn't get out and do their job. Shouldn't the caption be ' Aunty fed up with Government in action to the drains of Bangkok'? Imagine thousands of these scenario's around Bangkok? Why does the water back up in floods? Cleaning the drains would help the flow.

wakeupplease
Oh come on please do not tell me they are viewing to see if the willy they cut off last night is found today by this wonderful little lady doing the country a favour by unblocking the Bog
Redline
It is unfortunate that most people don't care or even look at trash. Everyone should do this, and they should stop people from disrespecting the country and dumping trash everywhere and anywhere. Besides blocking the drainage systems, it's unsanitary and unsightly. Maybe she will motivate someone!? Edited May 31, 2017 by Redline
