Myanmar drug suspect arrested in Chon Buri

By The Nation

Police and district officials arrested a Myanmar man in Chon Buri’s Sattahib district on Saturday.

Sattahib district chief Noraset Sritapasso said the suspect was arrested inside a mango orchard on Soi Sawasdee in Moo 4 village in Tambon Samersan at noon.

The 33-year-old suspect was identified by his Thai name as Somkid.

Noraset said his district has received complaints that the man had been selling methamphetamine pills to Thai teenagers and Myanmar workers in the area.

The man, who had a five-month-old puppy, tried to run into the orchard but was eventually captured and separated from his pet before being taken away by police.

I hate how these local hacks omit the really critical information from a story. What sort of puppy was it?

Is the puppy OK? It says he was separated from Somkid. Had they been conjoined?
