May 29, 20178 yr I like Ranong, been there many times. Looking for farang/chats/drinks, ask your way or motocy-taxi your way to Sophons Hideway, which is a rest/bar. Some more bars in same street, the odd farang here and there.
May 30, 20178 yr It is now called Ranong Hideaway and the local expats meet regularly on Sunday afternoon. Drop by and ask for Steve. Or Eugene. They used to start at 5 but it could be as early as 3 now.

May 31, 20178 yr Pretty boring place go to the islands. The beaches aren't great but it beats staying in Ranong.
