BANGKOK: -- Former members of the Democrat Party who resigned to lead the now-defunct People’s Democratic Reform Committee met over coffee with party chief Abhisit Vejjajiva on Tuesday.

The gathering at the party’s own cafe fed speculation that the ex-members might wish to return to the fold.

Abhisit, who’d just attended a ceremony marking King Prajadhipok Memorial Day at Parliament, met Wittaya Kaewparadai, Thavorn Senniam and others.

Abhisit had earlier denied there was any rift in his party over the group’s possible comeback.

How many people were present?

I see 7 total (in the photo).  But I'm fairly sure they weren't talking about politics.
