British journalist carrying flak jacket plates charged with arms possession in Bangkok

 

BANGKOK (Reuters) - A British journalist was charged with arms possession on Tuesday after being arrested at a Thai airport for checking in flak jacket plates and gas masks, standard equipment for media heading into war zones and other hostile environments.

Thai Tuna industry commends govt for solutions to IUU fishing

BANGKOK, 31 May 2017 (NNT) - President of the Thai Tuna Industry Association Chanin Chalitsaraphong has expressed confidence in the government's measures to tackle the IUU fishing over the past two years. He said the measures will likely cause the EU to issue a "green card" instead of a "yellow card" to Thailand.
