webfact Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Four rescued after passenger boat sinks on Chao Phraya By The Nation BANGKOK: -- A long-tail passenger boat sank on the Chao Phraya River in Samut Prakan province late Wednesday night but the skipper and three passengers were rescued. Police said the accident happened at 11pm in Tambon Bang Yapraek, Phra Pradaeng district. Police said the boat was transporting three passengers across the river from Phra Pradaeng to Poochao Samingprai district but a large cargo ship happened to sail pass the boat, causing a big wave that sank it.
