They don't just put out the free appetizers on display, you have to ask the bar staff for it then she will bring it to you. If she doesn't you need to demand it as you are an "elite" person and throw your beer in her face if she still doesn't do it. And it turned out to be the owners birthday as well I think he was Italian . But he was a great cook and he was handing out all free nibbles like in your pics. So on the 29th of October go to Jomtien Market soi. Walk down on the right side and one of the First bars you come to on the right had a pool table. Go in there and check that it's the owners birthday and hang about for your free elite snacks. I will update here with the name of bar if I remember. But the OP seemed to think that only places with free snacks would do. A bit like these people who spend a few $1000 a hour in a casino but are happy with a free meal there. I suspect he is elite as me or you but free snacks in a posh joint makes him fill like a king for a hour. I don't think any elite people would actually posting nonsense like this. I recall having some drinks and the waitress bringing us a few hors d'oeuvres (not expected at all!).. there's a great hideout place with a private beach (funny name, cannot recall at the moment) The thing about elite places is that they don't want a lot of tourists.. if you hang out in a local place and strike up a conversation with a local expat and they like you, they're likely to share some of these places with you. Some sleuthing through google may be able to help you out a bit...
