PHITSANULOK: -- Hmong villagers in three villages in Tambon Bo Pak of Phitsanulok's Chat Trakan district joined forces to repair the road surface on a 21 kilometer section of the Bo pak-Ban Nam Juang road, as there is no government budget allocation for the repair.

The road, the main route linking the three villages to the outside world, was in need of repair, particularly during the rainy season when it would become watrelogged.

Hmong residents led by Moo 13 headman Yee Saeyang came together on Friday with their knives, hoes and shovels as well as rocks and cement to fill up holes and cut intruding tree branches.

Villager Chor Woradamrongkul said the local people decided to take action to improve their community as there was no financial support from the government.

problem is the money allowed for to do this somehow doesnt make it, a new car here a new house there. One road I drive on regularly is that bad I now try to avoid it, it was great 2 years ago until tippers started using it as a short cut and ripped it to pieces. They were supposed to pay to fix it but the money has vanished for some reason, they dont even grade it anymore to make is usable, The money is allocated for these repairs but simply never makes it to them as it has been snaffled before it gets there.

Any ladyboys up that way who may want a bath? :shock1::cheesy:

These villagers are interfering with the local officialdom's ability to earn their percentage of allocated funds for road repair! :1zgarz5:

If they wore tight gold short shorts and tops and did hip thrusts they could probably get the Army to supervise the work

"... as there was no financial support from the government...."

The Government would rather buy submarines and tanks instead of helping citizens! :post-4641-1156693976: Shame on them.
