BANGKOK: -- The Social Security Office (SCO) chief reiterated today that the pregnant woman who fell onto the rail tracks of the Airport Rail Link (ARL) service and killed was entitled for social welfare payments.

 

SCO secretary-general Suradet Waliithikul confirmed the social welfare payment that the victim’s heir-at-law would receive after sending a team of welfare officials to investigate and find more information on her death.

 

Initially, he said her heir would be eligible for protection by the Social Insurance Fund which include right for 40,000 baht funeral expenditure, 30,000 baht for death welfare benefit, and about 78,000 baht for public pension.
