Junta allows other use of ALRO land

AFTER 13 military coups and countless political uprisings, some may have already lost faith in Thai democracy since the Siamese Revolution took place 85 years ago. However, that is not such a relatively long time for a country to achieve stable, fully fledged democracy.

Growth target in sight after Thai exports jumped 13 per cent in May

According to an article in Forbes Magazine in 2016, Thailand ranks #2 in traffic deaths globally just after #1 Libya and before #3 Malawi.  36.2 out of 100,000 people will lose their lives on Thai roads in any given year.  Why is that do you suppose?

Ex-PAD leader Somkiart turns up in court after warrant issued

Somkiart Pongpaibul, a former leader of the now-defunct People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD), presented himself at the Criminal Court on Friday after the court issued an arrest warrant for his failure to show up to hear an Appeals Court ruling on the group’s 2008 invasion of Government House and state agencies.
