Thanks for the info. Yes, really an ill-advised, short-sighted move by Anutin. As I've said several times, the housing industry, and all its many related businesses, is a big driver for many economies, Thailand included. We'll soon start to see the result, as lots of builders who depended on foreign buyers for their product begin to scale back--I've seen that already with some builders I know. That means lots of workers no longer working, lots of building supplies of all sorts no longer purchased, and fewer jobs for built-in furniture makers, wallpaper and drapery companies, window fabricators, electricans, plumbers, painters, landscapers, and so on. Not good.
