HHTel
We have recently (a couple of weeks ago) had two plots of land and houses transferred into my wife's name. It was then I noticed that the form had changed and was advisory stating that in the event of divorce, the assets would be split equally. A few years ago, (2011) I was in the divorce court. My wife's lawyer tried to submit the form from the Land Office stating that I had no interest in the land. The court would not allow it as it wasn't a 'legal' document. I was awarded 50% of all assets within the marriage. (n.b. as it turned out, we didn't divorce and we're still together!) This was at the Hua Hin Land Office. I do know of other people in other provinces who have had the same experience.
Felt 35
Interesting, what is the form called and do it have a official number?
