For ease and quality I still think the Qatar option is the best at 88k . It's one of the top airlines in the world. If have been upgraded a few times on Qatar and it's the best business class I have flown on. If there is a delay or missed connection you know Qatar will sort it out as best they can with a nice hotel or whatever.

I might try to book this one way and see how long they will hold it before I pay. I can wait for a better choice if I have to. As much as I would like to go today, just to get away from my wife. I don't want to torture myself trying to save a buck. I need a good seat, although price is an issue for me, trying to be comfortable as possible for my return is important. I am almost 60 so still no retirement income, so when I get back to USA. I have to deal with this as well.

So I am going to book the one way at 88000 and see if they hold it until I can clear everything in the next few days. If you see anything that looks better. Let me know. I can go as late as September if I really have to wait, although sooner is likely a safer bet for me as I worry I get to sick to travel at all.

Thanks again CNXBKKMAN> I can't thank you enough for your time and effort.

I booked my flight with Qatar, but they only hold for 24 hours, so I will have to book again in a few days. Thanks again for all the assistance. If you do happen to come across anything better in the next week ro so, by all means let me know.

Good luck.      The American Airlines leg from Heathrow to RDU looks promising, though, if you find that included with some other carrier.    It is nice not having to deal with your checked bags at interim airports.

Pack your bags and hide them from the wife....keep searching....and be ready to jump.  Having dealt  with the 'evil asian wife' thing before,   I regretted not ending that sooner, but it was the right decision when I did it. :)

Look in the mirror if you would like to see who is responsible for your predicament.  Get some meds and fly coach.  I am 6 feet five and yeah it can be tough, but not as tough as spending 2500 for one way.
