KhunBENQ
One thread from 2012 died quickly without the slightest hint. Does not look promising. Maybe someone knows a proper alternative.
FolkGuitar
Not in Chiang Mai, but the 'Vermont Country Store' in Weston, Vermont sells it, and will ship to Thailand. Best stuff ever made for chapped hands (and udders.) https://www.vermontcountrystore.com/bag-balm-tin/product/68269
canthai55
It is basically Vaseline with Lanolin, and 0.3% 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate. Substitute any antiseptic. Easy enuf to make anywhere.
jobin
Look in the Boots drug store for A&D ointment. It too is lanolin/vaseline/other goodies. Mostly used on baby bottoms but will work on your bum too. Frankly, i use it prior to my bike ride to prevent saddle sores.
CMKiwi
Lanolin....Isn't that the oil from sheep wool? Well actually a quick Google check says it's the wax/oil from any wool bearing animal. It's good stuff but unfortunately I haven't seen anything like that on my travels here. Great for cracked skin.

I use SmoothAssSilk, a locally made cycling bum cream, available at many bike shops in town and on-line. (actually made by some friends I ride with) http://smoothasssilk.com/ Actually I'm looking for Bag Balm to treat after ride saddle sores. I find the SmoothAssSilk is good but after 2 1/2 hrs I start getting sore. Another application often helps for the ride but after I still get chaffed. Considering trying a new seat, any cyclists have any thoughts? Bag Balm got the USA cycling team to the Olympics so figure it's can get me to Doi Saket and back!! jobin
I presume, Chef, that you wear the special cycling pants with a crotch cushion. Just wearing normal underpants, or going commando, will not be enough even with a pint of vaseline rubbed in. I bought cushioned underpants in USA, a great help. But i still use the grease.
