Great guy!

But why the hell do Thai people not learn how to swimm. They have hundreds of kilometers beaches and numerous lakes. If she had learned swimming this good young man would be still alive. We need such guys alive.

Doesn't help much to have swimming skills when you get mud sucked...

If he can swim, he don't have to put his feet in the mud as long as the water is deep enough for swimming.

Guess the young hero wasn't aware of the danger of sucking mud. So sorry for him.

Perhaps if the girl could swim, she wouldn't have needed rescuing.

a heros death is often the saddest kind... well... it certainly saddens me.

RIP... he did what he felt was right..

The story say they were swimming. Nowhere does it say she could not swim.

Since the boy who died was mud sucked, that`s probably what happened to her too.

Sad story...

The rescuer jumped into the reservoir..... he wasn't already swimming... so he probably implanted himself whilst jumping, and got mud sucked.

the girl was supposedly swimming.... perhaps trying to swim... (to get mud sucked she must have been wading, not swimming)

that was my thinking anyway, not that it matters, given that any way you slice it, it's a tragedy.
