The statute of limitation has been reached in the first week of September 2017; so I assume the hunted kid will finally be able to come home in 50 days or so.

Are the powers to be aware of the fact, that the rest of the world is watching Thailand on how they implement a perfectly workable set of rules and laws? They've used up 58 of 60 months and were not able to formulate an international arrest warrant - so don't hold your breath and assume that anything is to change.

Anywhere else you would boot out the entire crew of "ignorants" for good with immediate effect for 1) dragging their feet and 2) most likely being rewarded really, really nicely for 1).

How did the fellow manage to flee the country in the fist place, when he was already a suspect, considering the high level of meticulous harassment done by Immigration Officers on those who enter or exit the country?

On the other hand, if he has bought many different nationalities, strong doubt that any extradition would be possible as many western nations do not expulse their own nationals abroad for trials, unless they have a specific treaty that generally works only within the European Union or the USA.

Shameful as the life of a fellow police officer, seems to matter little to the top brass of the Thai Police...

Well it is consistent with the value of life here

Why does it have to be translated into English? He is a Thai who killed a Thai in Thailand!!.. if the police need assistance goto the companies by the British Embassy in BKK they do a great 1 hour translation service for about 350 baht.

I imagine that it'll need to be translated to English before it's forwarded to Interpol.  However, I can't see the point in this case; we all know what's going to happen - SFA!!!!!  The scum'll be back home before Christmas!

Perhaps the moderators will consider banning any more posts about this PoS, until there's a final outcome.  The same goes for the bitch who stole the iphone.

Some TV posts are getting really tiresome.

Have you ever stopped for a moment................................ and thought about..................

Maybe they feel that he has done the world a favor........... when he killed a Thai cop?????????????????????

Really............ I hope the 'rich brat' is brought to justice and pays dearly.................... My only comparison  is to my personal value of Thai cops......... My Thai wife has 2 brothers that are Thai cops so I have some 'Insight'............... And I read TV daily and have re-enforced distrust of Thai cops.........................

For five years now, it has been more than just refusal to work,  misconduct in office, omission, negligence,
it is more a
targeted sabotage on the constitutional state.
In this case, since 5 years the entire legal system has been brought to a crash.

Even more interesting is there has not been so much as a squeak out of micro-manager PM Prayut on this issue. What might that tell you?

Easy. He did not flee the country at all.

Why would he flee when he has not been formally charged with anything yet.

Until he is charged and a court orders him to surrnder his passport he is free to come and go as he wishes.

Immigration cannot stop him as at this point in time he has NOT been charged with any crime.

WHEN the Thai police get around to charging him (if they ever do) then that is a different matter.

Don't blame the Immigration police, blame the Police force itself fo not bringing charges in the first place.

At the risk of stating the obvious, how is it that  a letter can be translated to 190 countries and yet a single document translation cannot be made between one of the countries premier Police Stations, and a Ministry of State.

Well just wondering whether some senior RTP guys are being held down by the red bull family.

Maybe they work slow because somebody has something on them.

When the accident happened it seems that a more senior RTP officer was quickly on the scene to put together a scapegoat scenario. Did that mean there was already a connection / a relationship?

Are there 'cosy' ties between RTP folks and this family which creates almost a blackmail situation in reverse?

I have no idea whether any of these 'assumptions' are true.

On the other hand many rich hi-so Thai families (families in many countries) would have little hesitation to buy their way out a situation. If that happens the RTP involved have put themselves into a situation where they can be silenced in the future.

Just wondering...
