Pole should end there were is a solid base to rest on in the ground. Aussie777 Posted July 18, 2017 Share Posted July 18, 2017 When they built our pool, the body corporate would not allow the excavator on side (something about road damage), so they dug it out by hand (1.5m deep), then they had to install 36 x 8m pilings to support the base of the pool. The holes were dug by hand, and the concrete piles driven in as per the video. I never did take a video, but it was impressive to say the least.
