CityNews – The Deputy Inspector of Mae Jo police station has been relocated to Nan due to bad manners and the use if inappropriate language after an undercover student operation reported his bad behaviour.

In a bid to improve service quality of the Royal Thai Police, the Provincial Police Region 5 sent college students to report on the quality of service and the attitudes of police officers after reporting minor crimes at around 10 stations across the north of Thailand.

Just moving the trash from one place to another but never removing it.

with the overall problems facing the thai police , and therefore US, all of US, bad manners seems to not make the top 20 list

If you read the full story, you'll see that his "punishment" is one year in Nan.  I've been to Nan and it seems like a nice little town, but I guess it's not a plum assignment like Mae Jo.

their idea of punishment; had it not been publicized, he might have had to buy a round of beers for the guys

"Provincial Police Region 5 sent college students to report on the quality of service and the attitudes of police officers"

Good idea, who would have thought that

That's a shame, quite like Nan province. Now it will be full of surly, foul mouthed police officers.

What did Nan do wrong?

One point you are forgetting folks, in Nan the brown envelopes will be a lot fewer and smaller.

So that is punishment in its self.

Reform?    Now a very large % of the RTP can expect 'transfers'? :whistling:

ok, so if i dont like my job or my location or my superiors. i just misbehave and i get the transfer i really wanted all along; nice

For a govt worker who doesn't want to work being transferred to an inactive post must be heaven?

What percent of govt workers are in an inactive post? I never heard of one being re-activated!

They use to send them to Khun Yuam.  I wish someone would relocate me to Nan.
