Nakhon Si Thammarat police have re-captured three of four suspects, who broke off a police cell in Muang district on Aug 10, Muang district police chief Pol Col Adisak Thepawal said.

On the night of Aug 10, four drug suspects managed to escape from a detention cell in Muang district police station. They are Yamin Chantara-thai, 19, Santi Chaichana, 28, Pongpan Pokhasawat, 36, and Chalermpol Chanyang, 27.

The jail break happened after midnight of Aug 10 as a duty police officer was escorting a drug suspect back to his cell at Muang Nakhon Si Thammarat police station.

As the officer was opening the cell gate, the four drug suspects inside the cell pushed the gate backwards by force sending the officer to fall on the ground.

The four then ran out at all directions.

This story is too funny, but glad the police officer was not injured too much, except for his pride

and his loss of face of course.
