I am currently in Thailand on a Retirement Visa.  The expiration date of my current visa is 04 Nov 2017.  I am required to obtain a letter from my Embassy (Canadian) stating that I have an income of over 800.000 Baht.  The question is...Is there a time limit for this document.  Must I present it to Immigration within 30 days of issue by the Embassy?  I would like to go to Bangkok next month (Sept) and get the document then.

Thanks

Immigration will accept proof of income from your embassy that is up to 6 months old on the date you apply for the extension.

The proof of income will need to show a monthly income of 65k baht which is only 780k baht of annual income.

Edit: What do you actually have now. Do you have an extension of stay or a OA visa issued by an embassy or consulate. If a OA visa you can use the visa up to the enter before date on it to get a new one year entry.
