Ok, got my tix for KL in a few weesk.

Need some help with clarifications if anyone is able.

1. Should the visa type be "Single entry" ?

I'm 30, Australian and just want a 3 months visa - or 2 months plus extension

2. Where exactly I am going in kl? Thai consulate, than embassy?

3. Does anyone know exactly what I need to take?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

MALAYSIA

Royal Thai Embassy, 206 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Tel : (03) 248-8005, 8222, 8350, 8420 Fax : (03) 248-6527

Jalan Ampang is same road the Petronas towers are and its about 4 km to the east of the towers. For reference the UK consulate is a little bit west of the Thai location on the same road.

sounds like you want a single entry tourist visa which gives you 60 days in the country. It is 100 ringgit or about 1000 baht. Take ringgits.

It can then be extended another 30 days in Thailand for 1900 baht.

you need your passport

2 passport photos

photocopy of your first page of your passport

100 ringgits

You need to apply before twelve and its best to arrive at 9am or before. They open at 9.

make your application and pick up the next day.

Avoid mondays as they can be quite crowded.
