Topic is re THB but that is obviously not what you are really interested in here. The DXY is actually only slightly lower now than it was just before the referendum. It rose from then until December then fell back again. Clear enough?

That's a good one - remember your own comment. -  "For now the pound has fallen against dollar (since the Brexit vote)"

Off course it was all to do with 1985.

Dow and foreign currencies to USA not directly connected. Try a macroeconomics class to understand basic global finance.

The 1985 comment was to Surasak, which was the year the pound got you 33 baht. Nothing to do at all with Brexit. You are both confused and boring.

well there is a little bit this week, the pound has risen against the bht. since Monday to fri..mon.42.48.fri. .TT.44.42.SCB.

there is a rumor that a uk.bank rate rise is on the cards.they meet on Thursday so it could be very soon.

its all to do with an above average inflation rise.

lol there is NO direct exchange rate between Sterling and the Baht.........the only country with that is the worlds "reserve currency" the US Dollar.... Every other countries rate is a multiplication of two pairs. In sterlings case Sterling/Dollar multiplied by Baht/Dollar.......sterling has increased against the Baht purely on Sterling increase in value against the Greenback
