Bangkok’s Blue Line extension authorities select Thales to deliver seamless ticketing experience as commuter growth soars

Reinforcing its strengths in the Thai transportation market, Thales has been selected by the Bangkok Expressway Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) and CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited (CK) to deliver the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system for the Bangkok metro’s Blue Line Extension.

Five suspects in the murder of Khon Kaen karaoke bargirl indicted in court

The Khon Kaen public prosecutor on Tuesday (Aug 22) formally indicted five suspects allegedly involved in the murder of a karaoke bargirl and cutting up her body to facilitate burial in order to conceal their crime.

Bus and truck curfew in place for Patong Hill

Authorities suggest that prohibited vehicles avoid the Patong Hill by using roads through Kata/Karon or through Surin and Kamala.

  

PHUKET: -- Following the sucession of accidents involving buses and trucks in recent months, Traffic Police have placed official restrictions on access to Patong over the notorious Patong Hill for during certain hours of the day.

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ordered the production of more solid-fuel rocket engines and rocket warhead tips, the North's official media said on Wednesday in a report otherwise lacking threats against Washington after weeks of heightened tension.

Mother, daughter drown in Chiang Rai river accident

Animal charity won’t press charges against dog-eating migrant workers
