Its a Mazda RX7 FD with an engine swap to a Toyota 2JZ Turbo, I know the car and its owner who is a nice guy and owns a successful award winning business. He is not stupid and I am sure he did it when there was light traffic however I agree it was not a wise thing to do.

I have driven through the tunnel several times and there are international "no stopping" signs everywhere as well as the message "no stopping" in English and Thai. Whether it was a quiet period or not is irrelevant. If they can ignore these signs then they can ignore all signs, They are simply brain dead idiots
