Hi Adam, If you want I can get in touch with people, I got a beautifuc one boarded at my kennels and the owner has bought it it Thailand. Another option is get a reknown pet magazine there you will have all breeders listed but Dobies are not very popular in Thailand. Greets D.F. Jet Gorgon
Samui Thais hate Dobies, Adam. Fear factor. Hope you have a big yard and know how to train them for beach walking on a lead.
adamskisamui
Understand your concerns Jet yes i do have a big fenced garden 2 rai and i am only 500m to the beach. Ofcourse the dog will be well trained i would not put my family in a position like that. And yes i know theres a fear factor but thats the whole point the dog will protect my family and property when im at work. But the doberman is not an aggressive dog not like all the rotties and if they are trained properly ( I WILL BE VISITING DOG FATHER PET HOTEL) they are a truly wonderful companion. sawadikrap1955
Hi, ( sorry for my not perfect English ) I'am happy to read that there are more people who like a doberman breed. I buy my doberman pup from a shop in Sriracha, the shop don't exist anymore. All thai are afraid for her, and she never do something wrong. Is a good dog, why many people are afraid for a doberman ? Sorry, but I cannot agree with you. Not all are aggressve, but they are very protective for their area and family members. Very loyal dogs and good companions if trained and socialized. But I like Dobermans aswell, nice breed. Gerd

Nienke
Just googled and came up with the following: Dobermann Friends Club of Thailand, Amphol Srisanga, Tiwanont 22,Bangkraso THA-11000 Moeng, Nontabori Tel.: ++66-0-25 80 55 75 Fax: ++66-0-38 57 02 64 Doberman breeders according the KCT website: http://www.kcthailand.com/activity_dog_bre...namec=DOBERMANN MR.EKARAT SANGKUNAKUP, has been breeding doberman for many years MR.SUKSAWANG RERKSUMRAN, MR.PHISIT KIATPAKDEEKUL MR.SATHIT TAIBOWORNPITAK CAPT.DR.THANAWUT JIRAMANUSNAKORN MR.PIPAT SURIYAPRAPADILOK has been breeding doberman for many years etc. I'm not sure if all these people still breed doberman, as I've heard that Mr. Pipat does not breed doberman anymore. He was/is quite knowledgeable though and had good dogs. Also Mr. Ekarat had (has?) good dogs. So far as I've understood Mr. Pipat bred the European Style Doberman, while Mr. Ekarat bred more the American Style ones. Mr. Suksawang has been showing his dogs at a dogshow last October. http://www.petnews2005.com/index.php?lay=s...&Id=5328782 You can call or email the KCT for contact details: The Kennel Club of Thailand Tel. 02990 3428-9, 02990 3618 Email : [email protected] Hope this helps Nienke

bina
I am involved in breeding dobermans. Contact me for details as i currently have a litter of pups... charls, u can place an ad in the classifieds for advertising your litter. u can post a 'one off' (one time only) pic of your dobie mom and litter here, and link the ad back to the pic here if u want, but the forum here is for discussions about breeds, vets etc, and breeders must limit their discussions here as such. all sales info should be done thru pm-ing people, and or the classifieds. thank you. bina
