george Posted October 30, 2006 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Bangkok Fashion City officially scrapped BANGKOK: -- Deputy prime minister and industry minister Kosit Panpiemras announced today the official death of the costly Bangkok Fashion City project. He also signed a decision to transfer the Kitchen of the World project, to encourage Thai resautrants overseas, to other agencies. According to Mr Kosit, the ministry would end the investment in the Bangkok Fashion City project once the current budget for Fiscal Year 2006 has been fully disbursed. He said the ministry would not ask the government for the 2007 budget for Bangkok Fashion City.
