    I have been an assistant accountant for a couple of years and work in IT for decades. Criminals like it to move money undetected, that makes it interesting to them. For me it has no value at all.

    I always have a lot of small bills. When I buy things at 7/11, Bic C, Lotus, department stores etc. I pay with a 1000thb bill to get these small bills. Then I use these for taxi, tuk tuk and street stalls.

    I am reasonably sure you can move money into the Bangkok Bank account without paying excessive fees or are you afraid for tax purposes?
