  1. What is it @Thaifish ? 1 year already that you are waiting?
  2. Today it is raining a long time already, but it did not even fill 1 empty tank after all this time (only 20% full now) so the rains are very light.
  3. I am looking for AC 2P Surge protection and also for the cartridges to replace when the indicator changes color. I can only find the AC 2P themselves but NOT the cartridges, does anyone have a link? TiA Edit: The same for DC would be a Bonus ????
  4. I went to see a psychic. I knocked on his door and he said "who is there?" So I left
  5. That is @Thaifish I believe
  6. How do you tell the difference between a frog and a horny toad? A frog says, ‘Ribbit, ribbit’ and a horny toad says, ‘Rub it, rub it.’
  7. Panels will be in Series. 10 of them, I wanted 11 which was the Max for the Inverter, but SWMBO decided on 10 (who am I to argue? And very good that she didn't go with 9 (lucky number )
  8. My bad, on the panel it looks like L but you are right it's i (I)
  9. You are right, but eliminating 1 of the ONLY 3 (major) providers (AIS, TRUE and DTAC) is never a good thing for consumers. Prices for Mobile phone usage / 3-5G will most certainly increase when there is less competition.
  10. I know what I did is overkill but I mentioned that you could go a lot cheaper then what I did.. by double insulated twin do you mean VCT?
  11. 55555555555555 you are lucky I have a run of 35+m to outer left panel and one of 20+m to the outer right panel from the Inverter and I am using 1x10mm² NYY Cable buried in HDPE for that. From the Inverter to the house is another 30++M and again using NYY 1x10mm² for that buried in HDPE, then another cable (NYY 2x1.5mm²) for the CT (this last cable was around 1800 THB alone)
  12. So replacement should always be LSC >= old panel W >= old panel everything else doesn't matter. Correct?
  13. Thx. Just for my understanding what about more power panels suppose 400W panels and LSC same as old panel?
  14. What about a bit Higher or Lower? Issue?
  15. Yes Panels will be in Series. What is the current to look for? LMP or LSC? Edit: On my panels (see OP (I have added a picture) they are LMP = 8.82A LSC = 9.31A
  16. So we are in the process of getting our mini Solar up and running now I was doing some shopping yesterday and a BIG store also had panels but not the same ones that we have bought for our setup. Now my question, suppose the Shop runs out of "my" Solar panels and one of ours fail do I need to replace the lot? So when looking for a replacement panel wiith another brand what to look for?? W / VMP / LMP / VOC / LSC etc ? Edit: This is a picture of the back of one of the Panels
  17. Spot on. I am personally going step by step not because I want to but because of the reservations towards Solar by SWMBO. So 1st I am going On-Grid 5kW for our Daytime usage and after she sees our electric bill goes down significantly (even WITHOUT EXPORT), I will upgrade Costs for the 5kW On-grid with 10 Panels is around the 70-80k (excl install) Panels 10 of them 37.900 THB Poly 335W @Global (yesterday they were on sale at 3590 ???? ) Sofar Inverter 5kW 20.200 Cables, MCB, etc etc another 15-20k (opted for using NYY (and big size) for everything, you could go a lot cheaper on that) (And I bought spares for everything, MCB, Fuses, Fuse Holders, Lightning Protection etc etc etc). And I am not even talking about the price for the "Room" we created for the Inverter and the Panel structure, or the HDPE that will carry the cables to the Inverter and the House ROI, NO idea and never thought about it, if it gets our bill down to the 500(ish) THB mark (so around 100+/- units or 3-4 units per day) I am more then happy.
  18. Yeah Suc6. Got the NYY 2x1.5mm². 50 Meters 37 THB per meter Here you see it on top of the NYY 10mm² Edit: In all excitement ???? I forgot to buy the HDPE connectors (90deg bends etc etc) so back again tmrw Edit2: Also bought another "toy"
  19. That was 1 of the first shops I called .No Have. I have been a Loyal customer of them and when Bob was still there we visited often. We now only call them and have them deliver stuff (as they don't charge for deliveries unlike the other ones) The HDPE I still have a couple rolls both Water and Electric Graded, so that is not an issue and never was
  20. Question, do you know why HDPE Blue stripe is a lot more expensive then the HDPE Red Stripe? (same diameter) The only answer I have gotten was that the Blue Stripe is much thicker to handle higher pressure from Water. Does that make any sense?
  21. Outside (and underground) 300mm oke, but those fittings stay (not going to ..... the finished wall up) Probably next you are going to say that I can't use HDPE BLUE stripe for Electric Cable
  22. Shall discuss it with our builder when he comes. Will report back on the NYY.
  23. Thx @sometimewoodworker You are very helpful. We could bury the HDPE 300mm apart but at the starting point they will be close together. Look at this picture on the left you will see 2 HDPE sticking out of the wall (which is the starting point for the Cable to go to the House) The whole exercise is about to connect a Solar Inverter to the House (via the 10mm² NYY) and In this instance the CT clamps on the incoming grid connection (near the CU in the House) and monitors the grid energy flow and is connected to the Inverter
