  1. My account with SCB is still in Pattaya and I have moved to Buriram 7 years ago. I just went into a Local MAIN branch in Buriram and got issued the NEW ATM card right on the spot. Only needed my Passport / SCB Bank book.
  2. AFAIK If the Chanote is used as collateral against another property then the lender will keep the chanote until full payment is received

  4. The Google Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) are as follows: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using
  5. My guess some kind of weather station
  6. Reading this https://www.irishimmigration.ie/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Immigration-Service-Delivery-Visa-and-Non-Visa-Required-Countries.pdf and Thai citizens are required to have a visa to able to Enter Ireland edit but reading this https://www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-visit-ireland/british-irish-visa-scheme/ it seems because she has the UK visa she is allowed to enter, but only if the UK visa is endorsed with the letters BIVS
  7. Go to Savannakhet and get a Multiple Non-O on the basis that you are married. No Financials needed (except the money for the Visa) caveat is that you have to do border runs every 90 days but the visa, with careful planning, will last you 15 months+ so more then enough time to get the financials in order
  8. @Tropicalevo No glasses was never an option for me the doc made that clear in the first days meeting him. Also the option of having your eyes done one day after the other was also never an option for me (and the doc agreed). My reasoning is that you get an infection (god forbid) and it affects both eyes you are possibly fc.ued. No way that I would that happen. Glad it worked out for you, but just be careful when you get it done. No problem that mine took a total of 7 weeks, the only major issue I had during these 7 weeks was that I already did not like BKK but now I don’t like it with a vengeance ???? Mu next appointment in August will be driving into BKK on the day before the appointment, stay in a hotel next to the Hospital and after the appointment drive straight back home (this unless SWMBO decides otherwise ????)
  9. @connda I advise you to visit Dr Roy. He will say it straight what your options are. first visit very comprehensive (at Bumrungrad) was around 4-5k Thb
  10. Forgot right eye is now -2.75 from -5 left eye is now -3 from -8+ Can order new glasses
  11. Update Today last visit to Dr Roy. He finally let me go ???????? So now off to Pattaya to see some friends and then Tuesday or Wednesday we are going by taxi back Home Total for me it took approx 7 weeks to get the all clear. Still have to use eye drops several times a day but not an issue. An absolute shout out to Dr Roy. A real great doc and also very concerned and explains everything in great detail. ps: the reason why for me it took 7 weeks is was because of trouble with my left eye which the Doc clearly stated on the visits before the operation. Next visit week beginning of August
  12. Chat response IMHO means J... S…t, why? Because some stores just use an auto bot thus when you ask a question it immediately gives back a reply (non relevant to your question) and marks your question as read and thus Chat response keeps at 100% ????
  13. https://www.invadeit.co.th/category/memory-cards/sandisk/ edit: not affiliated just a happy customer
  14. That 120k for 15kW looks interesting but what disappoints me is the late August delivery ???? That is 2 months for delivery
  15. Ooh wow if that is real I am getting 3 edit: why is the price for 10 kW and 15 the same?. edit2: and the price for the 5 kW only approx 2k THB lower????
  16. MJCM replied to sateuk's topic in General Topics
this is the price in the uk https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/295580713 i understand why you want to take some back. No idea about the price in Thailand sorry
  17. If you mean MSN, then no issue opening it with True in BKK. Maybe try restarting your Router?
  18. I have been to Bangkok Bank weeks ago and did the face scan etc and they said it's alright, but the new Mobile Bangkok Bank APP has a feature to check the status and for me it fails but for my wife (who did the face scan on the same day as I did) its all oke So I am going back to the BANK and ask what is going one
  19. Which version of Word are you running? And which version of Word is the other person running? Ask the person to send you the file while saving it as "Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)" and try again
  20. I will undergo a cataract operation next month, first my right eye and then after a while my left eye. The recommendation from Dr Roy (who will also do the OP) was Now I would like to hear from people who had it done what their experiences was.
  21. At the moment we are using a Grid-Tied inverter with 3 panels but we are preparing to get "real" Solar (Hybrid Inverter with 10 Panels). We normally use on average around 300 Units per month (measured over a period of just over 2 years), but this month and last month (since we started with the GTI) our bill is already reaching very low heights (for our standards), last month it was 191 Units and this month the prediction is 162 Units. (Ps: This lowering of our bill is NOT 100% because of the GTI another contributing factor is the weather, lots of rains and thus no watering of the garden) So a question for the guys with "unofficial" Solar installs that feed back into the grid How low did your PEA meter go after you installed Solar and what was your normal (before Solar) usage?
  22. Can anyone recommend a device that monitors how much Energy a appliance uses? I was looking at this but no idea if it's any good? Will this one even work in Thailand? Operating Voltage 120v https://www.lazada.co.th/products/plug-power-meter-energy-watt-voltage-amps-meter-with-electricity-usage-i2053916973-s6699184763.html?
