  1. That is an advantage of being able to do it do yourself and not leaving you in the hands of a installer
  2. ???? And how is it holding up thus far?
  3. +1 Absolutely in our case I never cared about the ROI when I started thinking about Solar, the Wife did at first, but that said since the beginning we have grown from a Simple GTI (3 panels) that just feeds energy back into the grid to a On-Grid Sofar 5kW Inverter with 10 Panels and producing enough to supply the house with electricity and the left over is feed back in to the grid. (But have to limit the feed-in drastically (currently at 0.5kW) because of the danger of going into negative territory ???? Next step (future) is Hybrid Inverters (2x 5kW) and a ESS of around 30kW (but want to start with around 10kW at first)
  4. Update: Tested the (new) CT with the new 2x1mm² cable today and same results as with the original CT. So still have ghost export, seem to think it's normal ???? Ps: Confirmed that it's still exporting by looking at the meter, and it's still going back ever so slowly. Reflux Enabled and Power set to 0.0kW
  5. I agree with your comment, but why that last remark?
  6. Why just post about Apple? other manufactures also had their issues
  7. Original Post withdrawn @ExpatOilWorker Why people would buy such a contraption is beyond me. Guess it has to do with the "Selfie" generation
  8. R.I.P. Kwasaki
  9. Just check regularly because you are NOT done yet, it should hopefully soon say "Approved" then you can print out the PDF with your new reporting date and put that in your Passport if you like
  10. And that ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is one of the reasons why I will NOT build my OWN Battery Pack
  11. Question please I have ordered a new CT online. Now I want to run a separate Cable (because the current CT cable is underground in HDPE) to the Inverter. The distance is approx 20-25m. The current cable (for CT) (That is in the HDPE) is 2 x 1.5mm² Would 2x0.5mm² x 20-25m be good enough to test the NEW CT or should I go 2x1mm² ? Of course will also test with the current cable but I want to exclude that the (current) cable is the problem or maybe it's the connection.
  12. Yes available online. Priced around 2k THB Edit: looked at the store where I bought them from and they don't stock them any more. A quick search brought this one up https://www.lazada.co.th/products/etek-type-b-rcbo-10ka-3p-n-4p-40a-63a-30ma-ekl5-i4416315673-s17643642974.html
  13. Easy enough for us to go to Immigration and do the 90 days there, it’s only once in a while, where we now live we have peace and quiet (for now). Not moving anywhere soon
  14. Thx to the person who thanked me with a "Love it" on my previous post. I am posting just what my Player (which is on Random) plays. All songs I post I have locally (on my PC) and I just rely on my Player to ... out the songs. So all Kudo's to my Player ????
  15. @AAArdvark Just to be on the safe side use Day of Entry and then add 89 days to be sure when to do your "90" day report. We (when looking at the last couple of years of data) seem to always go before the report date, because we live a bit of a distance away from Immigration and combine the trip to Immigration with a Shopping trip to the City.
  16. This is our MAIN CU Ps: Stickers need work
  17. That is what I have in our House, 1 RCBO (Schneider) for every circuit, problem is it is not cheap, but I would rather be without power on one of the circuits then have to go through something like this
  18. What does it say when you click on the (i) next to "your due date"?
  19. AFAIK online has a limited time frame in where you can apply, so on or just before the last day you can't apply? @DrJack54 Care to comment?
  20. That is IMHO weird, but I can't comment on that because ONLINE never worked for me. Luckily it's not a problem because you have the 7 days after Due Date in which you can report without consequences (however YMMV ???? )
