  2. Yes I heard so as well and there is even talk that the electronic meter also charges you for electricity that you put into the grid. (@Crossy will know more about that) We are fortunately that we still have a Meter that spins backwards but I am monitoring it so that we don't go to low. (Last month 106 units, this month prediction 71 units (if we keep letting the GTI's to export))
  3. I tend to agree but it is one thing you paying for the Electricity they produce and another thing for MONEY they have to PAY you for Electricity you produce. So IMHO more scrutiny on the last bit (because they don't like to pay, see how difficult it is to apply for this net metering)
  4. 555555555555555 With us it is guaranteed rain after mowing the lawn
  5. In our village it's still my wife (her name the PEA app is registered to) but I am doing the reporting (in English ) (something like: Again no electricity in the whole of the neighbourhood)
  6. It makes total sense, I am struggling with this dilemma as well, but Yes I would spend money on the ESS why I don't want to be at the mercy of the PEA because who knows one day they say people with Net metering you only get xx satang instead of (currently 2 THB) for every unit you push into the Net. (don't forget they determine the price) But even for us (modest users @ 8-10 Units per day) going totally free from PEA would mean an investment of 3-600k THB, which I would do but SWMBO definitely NOT. I would love to have all our lights on (and aircon working) when there is a power failure and everywhere else is in darkness (how cruel that may sound).
  7. No problem.
  8. Care to explain, would like to learn from my mistakes.
  9. If you think that is high, wait your next bill with an FT (if you used that much) of 1545 THB and total bill of 4703 THB (if the FT rises to 224,98 satang per unit)
  10. My guess he used approx 165 Units with a total bill of around 630 THB (if 3,83 THB per Unit that is)
  11. I am almost certain that you still (if keeping under the 300 units) that you get the maximum discount. That said, I am more afraid of the 16th of January 2023 bill (with the proposed increased Ft rate)
  12. Electricity in Thailand is on a Sliding Scale Exclu FT / VAT / Service Charge so someone using a little can't compare his / her bill to someone uses a LOT more.
  13. @Crossy So Sept - Oct, Oct - Nov and Nov - Dec bill periods get the discounts. So 3 Periods.
  14. I will have to look for it, it was on here. Edit: Found it https://aseannow.com/topic/1269638-household-electricity-users-to-get-discounts-from-september-to-december/
  15. And December, which is the last time when the discount is counted
  16. Thx, so it's just unwillingness from the Bank to not send via Swift. In whole honesty this was the first time ever I heard about a Bank not doing swift or as @KhunBENQ accurately put it
  17. So what you are saying is, when you have a 3kW system they expect something like (example) 40 Units that they have to pay for at the end of the month, but when you then install 6kW system beside it and you feed in 90 units (again example) that they could come and visit? I like the idea, but after the @Thaifish story I am (personally) staying far away from Official Net Metering. For us it's either A- Being "Illegal" and Exporting B- If a NON Export Meter is installed, a system with ESS and a fallback to the grid only in case our ESS runs "dry"
  18. Is his Bank one of these? https://bank.codes/swift-code/romania/ If so, then they could send money via Swift, and I do think that MOST of the World Banks are connected to this system.
  19. When I do that I think I will be pestering someone so much that I am the first person who is on there blocklist
  20. Update: Just back from the Service Center. Something has bitten through a cable underneath the car and because it's Saturday and Monday is a Holiday they can only order stuff Tuesday. So the car has to stay at the Service Center till maybe Thursday. So trip is definitely cancelled. Thx for the useful replies, really appreciated
  21. If you go further on the 24 down to Korat, near Nong Khi is also a hot spot for those check points.
  22. Thx for all the replies but I think the trip will be cancelled. Why? This morning the car didn’t want to start, so we called the repair service from the insurance but No joy. so the car is now going on the trailer to the service center. (It is only 2 years + and regular serviced)
  23. I received them both for the COD orders as well last night.
