5555555555555555 I was just checking some routes we regularly drive and was a bit surprised that on the whole route from Nang Rong -> Wattana Nakhon not one charger is available, many petrol stations (of course) but no chargers. And if anyone has ever driven that route will know that it is sometimes a very low traffic route. We personally won't drive that route during the night.

Will make it part of my daily / weekly routine. Appreciated and good tip never thought about using this on the Aircon ????

Our Aircon techie is here to close up the compressor and put in the board and I just had a look at the board and it has also a big hole in it, but upon asking the techie to close that hole he said "not a good idea, better is to have wire mesh all around the compressor to prevent Gecko's / Rats / Mice entering it."

Pub Street is the Bar area called. We always, when we went to Siem Reap which was often as it is only a couple hours drive from us to this hotel https://www.goldentemple.asia/hotel/ It's very convenient and close to Pub Street.

Update: We called Daikin, and it's indeed still under warranty and the Daikin aircon guys will come over and check / install. But if anything else is broken then we must pay for it not a problem with that. We want our Aircon back 555555555555555 Thx Guys, will keep you updated. In the condo I had before I met my wife it was the other way around and one of the joys of having a new wife is remodelling your condo (not), so when we went to Europe for 2 months our builder changed the layout of the bedroom also changed the aircon and also added soundproofing (noisy neighbours )

I know this all too well. We recently had to change the way we enter our house because some old lady said that our Entrance is wrong (fortunately not the door) but the way we enter our Patio and via that enter our House. So my wife was busy with friends all day to move plants and fish etc etc from one part to the other. It just made moving stuff (shopping) into the house a bit more difficult Up to SWMBO

I am under the impression that TH banks see this as a Foreign Card, but I have never tried this, but just For My info, did you have a THB balance at Wise?

+1 In our previous condo we had a sound insulating wall placed because our "friendly" (not) neighbours were always from dusk to dawn pushing their chairs around and slamming their doors as soon as they woke up. All the residents who lived next / above or below to them complained to the management office but they (neighbours) couldn't f....... care less.

I don't use it for that or ever withdrawn money from an ATM with it, but my guess its shown as a Foreign card because every time we did use the card the question came "THB sir or...?" so the banks see it as a Foreign Card and thus IMHO you will be charged the ATM Fee. (apparently not as explained in the post below)

Every 150km a charger, make that 166km+ No chargers from Nang Rong - Sa Kaeo which is 166km distance. There are most certain some areas where are chargers are lacking. Edit: We always take this route when going to Chonburi, don't like the Korat mountain road even now it's 4 lane

I never tried the Wise Card in 7/11, but I have tried it in - DoHome - Global - a local Builders merchant - HomePro - Big C - Bangkok Hospital and it was always accepted. If you use it, A) don't forget to unfreeze it B) Enable Chip / Pin Transactions in the Wise App Edit: When you use the Wise Card tell the Cashier to set the Transaction as THB and not home country if you use THB it will deducted from your THB balance in Wise

He already tried to repair it on site but failed, maybe that is the reason why he took it with him. We bought the aircon in May 2020 (cost was 37.700 THB) was installed in June 2020 and we had Daikin come in 2021 because of a problem (which in the end was caused by a faulty install (not by this techie) and they said then (according to my wife) that then it was still under warranty but not much longer.
