I usually only have a beer when i eat pizza, that is about 3 or 4 times per year. Two weeks ago however i went out with a few friends and ended up in a pub and had my very first Cider,it was great and i will probably try one again soon.

Buriram man charged with rape of 8 year old niece, resulting in pregnancy at 12
jvs replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
It is not a case of a one time thing, four years! He should have looked for treatment himself, too late now. No amount of jailtime will fix him, many are the stories about rapists who get out of jail and rape again. -
Yes sorry for suggesting this,Dengue fever is much better.

Advice for a newbie buying farm land in Thailand
jvs replied to Steve910's topic in Farming in Thailand Forum
3x3 and 8 meters deep does not sound practical to me.It would have to have vertical walls(sides) and that is nearly impossible. If you do not have enough room for a pond a well would be nice, drill it on the higher part of the land so you can use the natural slope to flood irrigate. We have two fish tanks that hold around 200 fish and we have no filter system. We let the water run out a few times per week and the water runs over the garden, free fertilizer. One rai is just not enough imo, there will be a house,a drive way ,a shop and big trees for shade. Permaculture is a good way of growing things,it keeps the labour down. -
There was certainly a burgeoning democracy under Thaksin - that’s why there was coup after coup. Thaksin was democratically elected and when he started to exert the power that democracy bestowed upon him over the military establishment they snuffed out democracy. Now, democracy is back, the military is in retreat and Thaksin is jetting home. Alls well that ends well eh? I am very happy and hopeful about the new faces in politics here. So you agree Thailand had a democratic elected government when Thaksin was in power. So he was ultimately responsible for the Tak Bai incident and so he is to be tried for that. And what about his war on drugs?Squeaky clean there? So that is two crimes, you need any more?

A pond is very important if you can but on one rai it can not be very big. Buy two rai with a one rai pond, you can grow enough fish in there to always have protein enough. -
Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
jvs replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
I think not, putins army already is pretty occupied. Sending soldiers to Belarus means he will have to take them from the frontline else where, just what the Ukrainians need. The fact that putin is not sending soldiers to Belgorod is already telling. Imo this is the ideal time for any country to get from under the influence of putin. -

Do you think putin still has the capability to do that? The people from Belarus must realize this is a perfect opportunity to break away from russia, some other countries may think the same? Maybe it is just wishful thinking on my part but seeing what is going on now i don't think putin has a lot of soldiers to spare for other things. They can not even defend their own borders now, look at Belgorod.
