  1. One doesn't talk to the OP, one listens to his simplistic, nay childish pronouncements. "Parmesan cheese smells like dirty socks" "City bad, one horse town good" "Farang bad, simple Thai farmer good*" "Wagyu steak and red wine bad, 20 baht shlt on a stick good" "You bad, me good (because I go to one horse town instead of Paattaya)" etc, etc * yet he spends a considerable amount of his time on here talking to farang instead of the enlightened Thai farmers ????
  2. This topic is about farang not foreigners. Farang means whitey. Also your "I'm the only one that understands Thai music" schtick is a bit old now. Time to grow up and get some perspective.
  3. For the songthaew driver to ask you for 10 baht for a service he didn't provide would be confrontational. For you to question him would also be confrontational. For him to get aggressive would be really confrontational. He's Thai and your you're Thai (????) therefore such a situation is impossible given that you've told us in another thread that Thais are non-confrontational. Contradictory much? For all your time here I wonder if you really understand these people like you think you do?
  4. If an intelligent Thai woman can't speak English then she's not really that intelligent is she? Nor are the supposedly good girls that you have to resort to deception to get them into bed, eg. conning them with driving lessons. An "intelligent" Thai woman would already know how to drive and wouldn't be seen dead with the likes of you.
  5. time to go back to Utopia then, would you like 500 baht to kickstart your repatriation fund?
  6. If the Section 38 app was previously installed on your Android phone then you should be able to reinstall it as follows: Play Store -> Profile button in top right corner -> Manage apps & device -> Manage -> Not installed Then click on the app name and Install from the next screen See attached screenshot for an example of how Google stores your uninstalled apps:
  7. Agreed, they'll wear it as a badge of honour!
  8. You've got a chip on your shoulder that's so big I'm surprised anyone wants to talk to you about Thailand ... or anything at all!
  9. If you come on a single entry visa it expires the second the Immigration Officer stamps it as USED after they have approved your entry to the Kingdom on the terms specified by said visa. That's all she wrote.
  10. Still not modern if it was created in the '40s and '50s. That was a long time ago kid.
  11. Yeah, using a formula they'd perfected in the States for 40-odd years. Hamburgers aren't modern food, they've been around for at least a hundred years.
  12. Kath and Kim was a very clever satire but if you're not Aussie you won't understand it? Same as if you're not Aussie you won't understand the superfluous question mark at the end of my sentences?
  13. McDonald's was first opened in 1940, that's hardly modern.
  14. Kath and Kim first aired in 2002?
  15. Travelled so much yet learnt so little ????
  16. "Would you take a gf to Pattaya?" Why not, Pattaya is the real Thailand. If you think otherwise then it's time to lift the scales from your eyes.
  17. I think you mean Visa Exempt.
  18. There's no such thing as a "VOE"
  19. Yeh this has been talked about in other threads; it's almost impossible to find now. For Android you'll have to download the APK full from a third-party website and for Apple the last I read was you need an iPhone bought in Thailand and that has only ever had a Thai peeson's profile added to it (or something like that).
  20. This was at Laksi Mall IT in Bangkok?
  21. Different distribution methods. Film & TV is much more monopolistic than music/radio. Torrents are legal but sharing copyright-protected content is not. So not for everyone.
