Guy, I don't know particulars of using credit card. But I do know it is too easy once you set it up with your home bank. Takes few minute one time to set up then as easy and fast as typiing the numbers into the app.
wise.com will have all the particulars and you will know for sure.
Ok thanks will take a look at their info page.

much better than WU. Use this link to get your first transfer free https://wise.com/invite/asd/robertk160
Thanks but can the wise account transfer to Thailand be funded from a credit card?
-
Could you use them to transfer from an Australian or New Zealand credit card to a friends Thai bank account.
I presume the credit card holder would have to open a wise account, funded via the credit card and then transfer from the wise account to the recipients Thai bank account having the swift code and name.
Is it a viable alternative to Western Union for someone wishing to use a credit card as source of funds.
Rates are certainly better.

Exactly!! the absurdity of it is so annoying, far more covid among the largely untested and minimally vaccinated population than a fully tested and double MRNA vaccinated tourist.
Hazmat suits should be donned by medical staff going to their local 7/11 if needed to escort tourists to their 10 day prison.

Why was a senior cop in charge of procurement of medical supplies ? were they for the RTP nationwide?
500 million boxes, thats an awful lot of cavity searches ....drugs trade must be out of control.

Was under the impression that a few months back the UK donated 400k of their own UK manufactured Astra Zeneca to Thailand and along with 1 million Pfizer donated from USA stock these were used to vaccinate us farangs here over the last few months, so they should be accepted by the UK gov.

Just shows all uncle Tu cares about are the brown envelopes and his subservience to the pay masters and has scant regard for the well being of the people of Thailand and medical or moral ethics.

You kindly provide the overall information daily including the 5652 antigen test results well done thanks.
However the article published here daily does not include the antigen figures as if they are totally irrelevant to the complete picture, a mystery.!

Now you are thankfully over it, have you tested again to get the negative confirmation?

They dont give a <deleted> about the average Thai person and instead of all these nonsense statements pulled out of their rear ends they should try getting their own heads permanently stuck up there.

Care for the people?, I dont think so!,
Stupid barstewards were hell bent on a big show pr event nationwide on Friday with the million jabs in one day nonsense and cancelling peoples appointments moving them to Friday for the charade.
Meanwhile 1 million Pfizer doses cant be delivered because of paperwork complications such as permission from China and no back handers for uncle Tu.

Of course its not just about bars, but having a glass of wine with your evening meal or a beer with the sunset etc is a pretty natural holiday expectation.
Anyway until full vaccination has reached 75% countrywide, tourists shouldnt visit because although alcohol is not served, Covid 19 is still readily available at many venues.

China already totally owns Prayut and his henchmen along with co-ownership of a massive percentage of all high end commerce, so letting them have the land their hotels shopping malls and factories stand on will make little difference.
Although Pattaya and Phuket may become casino resort cities........place your bets.

Only two dead none of those were murdered and just a few hundred Covid cases a day, the tourists will be queueing up to book their flights to enjoy an alcohol free detox vacation.
Cant have a beer but Covid 19 freely available at most locations.

How you explain the smaller number of patients in hospitals?
Its no longer a mandatory requirement to be hospitalized if testing positive, this is reserved for those who urgently need medical care and or are willing to to be in hospital surrounded by other covid patients with little separation.
If you use a antigen kit at home you dont have to report the results or go to hospital unless willing.

Their is a pandemic, covid is everywhere, the population has only miniscule testing and the vaccine roll out is not even at the halfway point and its effectiveness against Delta hampered by the use of Sinovac.
Interprovincial travel and both domestic and international tourism should be actively discouraged until the population has been 80% vaccinated with effective acceptable vaccines.
Maybe im missing something has the Junta arranged a magical Covid immunity for the citizens of Thailand or is their stumbling incompetence based on greed and fiscal gain for the few and a total lack of concern for the vast majority.

Anyone with a positive Rapid test should subsequently get tested by RT-PCR and be counted again.
Their are many shoulds in Thailand that are clearly not becoming haves.
The antigen tests are much more likely false negative than false positive and to ignore the numbers in daily figures is ridiculous.

Thailand on Tuesday (September 21) reported 10,919 new COVID-19 cases, 11,694 recoveries and 143 additional deaths over the past 24 hours.
◼︎ 11,694 recoveries
◼︎ 10,497 new infections
◼︎ 422 prison / prison infections
Is Asean now infected with the inability to publish the total figures released by ignoring 6,593 positive antigen tests?, extremely misleading to the readership.
I quote and thanks to Bkk Brian with the actual totals available.
Rapid tests positive cases, 6,593 bringing the unofficial total to 17,512

Thailand removed from the UK “red list”, list reduced to only seven countries

If you are double vaccinated with Astra of Pfizer or Moderna 14 days prior to travel, looks like no restrictions other than lateral flow test day 2 of return.
No pre flight PCR test , or day 2 or day 8 PCR tests, not sure about passenger locator form.
Travel Update: 47 countries and territories removed from red list - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
Could be ive read it wrong in my excitement to be able to return to my country if required without ludicrous hoops and expense.
