April or Pacific Cross?
Not sure if this is relevant but this shows Maxima premiums (and others) for 10m plus baht cover with age bandings and was produced earlier this year. May be useful to others. I also have their sheets for 1m+ and 3m+ cover if anybody is interested. AA_Comparison_10+m_THB_plans_v2[1].pdf

April or Pacific Cross?
You may recall that I moved to April International but was going to check with my broker (AA Insurance) about the supposed hefty in band increase mentioned by a poster in another thread. I eventually emailed my contact and after a while I received a reply from someone from a company called AA World............ In answer to some of my follow up questions - This ties in with @Etaoin Shrdlu comments about Thailand based brokers selling International policies. A subsequent email from a "manager" at AA World basically pushed Regency Health (Regency for Expats?) with a premium about 50% more than I am currently paying with April.......... They also pretty much ignored my request for current banding prices for April........ Apparently Jenny has gone and no more comparison excel sheets.........

Can you tell me where, and how current, this information is coming from as I am having issues with my current preferred broker in getting this sort of information? (For International providers)

SCB ending SCB Easy Net internet banking.
Are you sure? As far as I have always been aware - mBanking is the app for use on their phones. Equivalent of SCB Easy iBanking is online access - not an app.. Equivalent of SCB Easynet Perhaps you should start a new thread........

Last will and testament
I found this out a couple of years ago when I queried with Lloyds International as they are based in IOM. I had presumed all fell under UK (British) probate but apparently not so now I have 2 separate wills for my "British" and IOM assets..... For both of these I used online templates. My simplistic understanding is that even as a non-resident for tax, but like you still UK domiciled, HMRC will want to know everything and take a cut off everything unless you find a way to mitigate via Trusts or whatever. However to do that I guess you have to get hold of all the funds from offshore probate first to then declare everything when applying for UK probate? I am happy to be corrected on this point as could not find any obvious references when I was looking. I will be interested to hear what they say should they come back with anything useful

SCB ending SCB Easy Net internet banking.
Whilst I am equally pissed off by the change (and had to buy a new phone no less), anyone who waited until the appointed switch off date to actually try out the app was asking for trouble. If they had installed it early they would have noticed immediately that it was not populated with the data they expected to be carried across and could have done something about it. I would further suggest that for a business owner to have waited until after the closure to sort it out, unless out of the country, is approaching a very large fail...........

How to get my tax refund?
I doubt it. It will show in your account but just try pulling that money out - it takes at least a couple of days if not the same bank.

SCB ending SCB Easy Net internet banking.
Either arrange for someone to pay your bills before you come back or make a flying visit to sort out. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but as far as I know there is no way to get the SCB app activated from outside Thailand. Happy for someone to prove me wrong...........

SCB ending SCB Easy Net internet banking.
As far as I know this is only for transfers over 50k baht? If you were asking me earlier then no I haven't enabled it. In fact as far as I am aware foreigners currently cannot and have to sign the "waiver" if you want to transfer more than 50k baht.. However as far as I know this does not affect transfers below 50k baht - certainly didn't for me earlier.

Sorry to hear that. I have just made a small transfer to another person I had set up prior. Fortunately had no problem. If you were previously able to transfer from that account with Easy Net there should be no reason I can think of why it fails with the App. I can only suggest double checking all the account details on both sides and if no joy ring the helpline.

With SCB you are going to have to have a smart phone (minimum Android 8 at the moment....) with their app installed - or use a local ATM.

WiFi 6E Routers - Where to buy?
I bought a new phone couple of weeks ago (due to SCB issues....) and in my searches was trying to get 6E but in the end didn't due to a number of reasons. From memory Samsung A54 at around 14k baht has 6E and I would guess anything up from that launched recently this year probably has. So new that GSM Arena does not even have 6E as a variable in their Find a phone comparisons.

Is there a way to pay using phone via QR codes in 7-11s with local bank accounts?
Some of us (and their has been many comments in previous threads) have the reverse experience. Each to their own...........

SCB ending SCB Easy Net internet banking.
For anybody still interested this is the screen you get if you click to go to the English log in for SCB Easy net - so contrary to one poster's SCB contact saying that he would still be able to log in and see stuff........

K-Bank Email
At SCB they can apparently sign a waiver which absolves the bank of any responsibility in case of fraud (on any transaction) and then the 50k limit does not apply. However it takes more then a few days to get sorted going on posts elsewhere in this forum.

Credit Card in Thailand
This came up some years ago with someone who had done this but when he came to get his bank letter they deducted the CC held amount from his balance. My memory has it that several other members at the time also had this issue - I think it changed from previous years. Not really worth the risk unless you have more funds to cover that potential shortfall.

WiFi 6E Routers - Where to buy?
I wasn't suggesting they were 6E but specifically AD which I assumed follows on from AC I guess...... This is useful talking about the differences Ac, Ad and AX but does not have 6E - https://www.dignited.com/24575/wifi-802-11-ad-vs-ac-speeds-band-range-comparison/ Basically if you have 6 then all should be very good

WiFi 6E Routers - Where to buy?
I had not seen any but quick look at InvadeIT came up with one model (maybe more as was quick) offering 802.11 AD........... https://www.invadeit.co.th/product/wireless-networking/netgear/nighthawk-x10-wireless-ad7200-tri-band-gigabit-router-r9000-p031224/ At 20k baht doubt you will find in any store in Pattaya unless special order. Edit - there were 2, another Netgear model.

Thai private sector braced for impact amid political unrest and government delays
Not sure where you got 39 from. Lowest in last 60 days was 42.171 interbank and over 43 for all of June...... Main reason I think is strength of GBP vs $US
