Reading this forum over the years it has become quite easy to identify some nationalites by how they write, and certainly easy to spot a non-native English speaker as I think many can. Certain phrases and attitudes are difficult to mask when in the flow of conversation, sometimes I can tell who has written something without looking at the avatar/name! the OP is a perect example ????

I boughta phone recently, should have realised "too good to be true" I didnt receive the phone advertised I got a new phone but it was in an unmarked box, bore no resemblane to advertised product and appeared to be a cheap plastic Chinese item. I also paid COD. I contacted the seleer via chat, took photos, sent to them. I requested a return based on jncorrect item received. I was then told, and this was unreal for me, that the seller has to decide !!! After 3 days the seller agreed the return. I sent it back and followed it back via Lazada system to the seller. I then got a msg the item was being inspected. The seller would then decide if they will accept it or not ! Another 5 days went by, and I had a full refund. The point being that whilst it was refunded, the system and procedure is ALL in the sellers favor and unlike the West, where its predominently on the customers side. Be very careful what you buy and from who, I consider myself lucky, but it coukd very easily have gone bad. Lazada is a portal for some very unscrupulous sellers, BUYER BEWARE seems to be increasingly the best policy for many online outlets.

Downloaded the Grab app but didnt proceed and uninstalled it after not being happy with "permissions", why the heck they need access to my physical activity, photos and media files, camera, audio files is a step too far for me. ???? Bolt was easier so will try that and see how it goes.

What have they said ? In my experience, once you produce proof of the purchase and the amount (as you said you did) etc that is usually accepted. That said, they have you over a barrel, pay it or lose it, or of course ask for it to be referred higher up or get a lawyer involved,which may prove costly.
